EUProtect wishes to thank everybody who contributed to the success of the final workshop and the project
On March 17th 2022, the #EUProtect consortium delivered the final #workshop of the project hosted by Metro de Madrid, S.A.
In the morning the entire consortium and some representatives of Metro de Madrid participated in a Tabletop exercise, organized by CBRN GATE a comprehensive portal and the staff of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, that engaged all the participants with an emergency scenario specially developed for the occasion.
In the afternoon, the results of the 2-year modelling campaign of new concepts of urban landscape design and #protection solutions to reduce vulnerabilities of public spaces against #terrorist threats were presented to the audience present in #Madrid and online.
Many participants joined the discussion from several different countries in Europe leading to a very fruitful day!
The EUProtect consortium wishes to thank everybody who contributed to the success of this day and the remarkable results achieved by the project.
We hope this project is only the first of many initiatives aimed at enhancing the #safety and #security of European citizens and soft targets.
